Why you can
trust us.

KRUUSH was created by Amber Farr-Jaffe. I'm not a doctor, therapist, or licensed medical professional. I'm a mom, grandmother, friend, and researcher who cares deeply about women's health. I read the research. I talk to the experts. And I believe you deserve clear, honest, simplified information. Not another condescending pamphlet from someone who has never lived through this.

This page tells you exactly who we are, how we create our content, where our information comes from, and what rules we hold ourselves to. Because you shouldn't have to take anyone's word for it. Including ours.

The Foundation

How we earn your trust

Trust isn't claimed. It's demonstrated. Here's how we demonstrate it. Every day, on every page.

We've Lived It

We are women living through perimenopause and menopause. We share what we've personally experienced, tried, and learned. Our content comes from real life, not a textbook.

In practice: Every product recommendation is something we or women in our community have actually used. Every topic we cover is something we've personally lived through.

We Cite Real Experts

We're transparent about what we know and what we don't. We cite experts who are: board certified OB/GYNs, urologists, neuroscientists, and researchers from institutions like Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, and The Lancet.

In practice: Every health claim on this site links to a peer reviewed study, a credentialed expert, or a recognized medical institution. We name the doctor, their credentials, and the source.

We Know Our Lane

We don't pretend to be a medical resource. We're a wellness platform that simplifies the overwhelming and points you to the right experts. We know the difference. And we respect it.

In practice: We reference and link to the actual authorities: Dr. Mary Claire Haver, Dr. Jen Gunter, Dr. Louise Newson, Dr. Kelly Casperson, and others. Their credentials are listed so you can verify them yourself.

We're Transparent About Everything

We earn trust by being transparent about our affiliate relationships, our limitations, and our sources. We never fabricate data. We never make medical claims. We never tell you what to do. We show you what exists and let you decide.

In practice: Every affiliate link is disclosed. Every disclaimer is visible. Every source is cited. This page exists because we believe you deserve to know exactly who is behind the information you read.

What we are. What we are not.

What We Are

Women who have lived through this. Perimenopause, menopause, all of it

A resource that simplifies overwhelming health information

Transparent about every affiliate relationship we have

Committed to citing peer reviewed research and credentialed experts

Honest about our limitations. We share experiences, not prescriptions

A community that believes your best years are ahead of you

Compliant with FTC guidelines for endorsements and affiliate disclosures

What We Are Not

We are NOT doctors, nurses, therapists, or licensed medical professionals

We are NOT providing medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment

We are NOT a substitute for a qualified healthcare provider

We do NOT claim that any product will cure, treat, or prevent any disease

We do NOT fabricate data, statistics, or research findings

We do NOT guarantee any specific health outcome from any product or practice

We are NOT responsible for decisions you make based on our content

How We Work

Our content rules

Every piece of content on KRUUSH follows these rules. No exceptions. No shortcuts.

01

Every Claim Is Sourced

If we state a statistic, we cite the study. If we reference a medical fact, we name the institution. If we quote an expert, we list their credentials. No anonymous claims. No "studies show" without saying which study.

02

Every Expert Is Credentialed

We only reference healthcare professionals who are board certified, published, or recognized by established medical institutions. We list their full credentials so you can verify them yourself.

03

Every Affiliate Link Is Disclosed

When we earn a commission from a product recommendation, we tell you. At the top of the page. In the product section. In the footer. Transparency is nonnegotiable.

04

We Use Careful Language

We say "research suggests" not "this will cure." We say "some women report" not "this works for everyone." We say "talk to your doctor" not "you should take this." Language matters. We choose ours carefully.

05

We Update When Science Updates

Medical understanding evolves. When new research contradicts something we've published, we update it. We don't leave outdated information on the site. Every page shows when it was last reviewed.

06

We Never Make It Up

Every number on this site comes from a published source. We don't invent statistics. We don't round up to make things sound more dramatic. We don't present estimates as facts.

Our Sources

The experts behind our content

We don't make health claims on our own authority. Every medical reference on KRUUSH traces back to one of these credentialed professionals or their published research.

How we make money

KRUUSH earns revenue through affiliate commissions. When you click a product link on our site and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. This is how we keep KRUUSH free and accessible.

Our affiliate relationships don't influence our recommendations. We recommend products because we believe in them, not because we earn from them. Many products we recommend have no affiliate program at all. We include them because they're genuinely useful.

We participate in the Amazon Associates Program and may have direct affiliate relationships with specific brands. Every page that contains affiliate links includes a disclosure at the top of the page and next to individual product links.

This disclosure is made in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255).

We will always tell you who we are and who we are not

We will always cite our sources and name our experts

We will always disclose when we earn money from a recommendation

We will always use careful language for health-related content

We will always prioritize your safety over our revenue
